Job Description
Centroid is seeking a Oracle Apps DBA- Architect with experience supporting large complex client environments as part of our Cloud Delivery Team with a focus on performance tuning, scripting and automation. As a senior technical member of the Managed Services team, you will take a lead role in troubleshooting and resolving the most complex issues for our customers’ mission-critical production environments as well as all aspects of administration for non-production environments. You will be expected to perform multiple functions, including the root cause analysis and assisting users with issues beyond what front-line support are able to resolve.
Required Skillset:
- Minimum of 15 -20 years as an Oracle DBA with production support experience, including Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c.
- 15 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with Oracle EBS 11.5.10 and R12.x
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture
- Hands-on experience with implementation, upgrade, and tuning of:
- Large Oracle EBS environments, Oracle EBS in a production environment; throughout all stages of the lifecycle
- Enterprise Manager Grid Control 13c
- Backup and recovery concepts, including RMAN
- Oracle DB 12c/19c, Oracle RAC 12c/19c
- Patch assessment and application in an EBS environment with activation of different modules
- Performance Tuning (ie. Sql Queries), EBS Application Tier (Forms, Reports, Weblogic)
- Performance tuning OS (memory settings, disks io, cpu utilization)
- Must have strong Linux scripting (Python, bash scripting)
- Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills.
- Proven experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Solaris/Windows
- Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional non-business hours (evenings and weekends) flexibility and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects.
- Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member.
- MS in CS or BS/ BA in Computer Science with five years of relevant work experience.
- Candidates should be flexible for Night shifts/Weekend Shifts
- Experience managing environments Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience managing environments with other Oracle Products SOA, OBIEE, GTM, Agile/PLM, ECM/UCM/WebCenter
- R12.2 Upgrade Experience on multiple projects
- Experienced with Oracle Identity Management product suite
- Immediate Joiners preferred
Education: Graduate or Equivalent degree
