Business Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join one of our agile squads: Payment, Loyalty, Trading or Onboarding. The successful candidate will work closely with the product owner and technical lead to refine and document requirements, ensuring the development of high-quality features that meet user needs and business objectives. This role reports to the technical lead of the squad.

• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders to define clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to ensure proposed solutions align with business goals and technical capabilities.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring transparency and clarity for the development team.
• Support agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring continuous alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
• Create detailed process flows, user journey maps, and functional specifications to guide development and testing.
• Assist in the development of business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented features and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to ensure the app remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an agile environment in the trading or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar software.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in an agile setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities effectively, and proactive in project planning and requirements gathering.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Desirable:

• Experience working on a B2C application is a strong plus.
• Experience working in the trading industry is a plus
