In this role, you'll be joining our Customer Lifecycle Engineering team as a Quality Engineer.
8+ years’ experience in software quality assurance or test automation roles.
Solid hands-on experience in functional and automated testing of web applications.
Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, or Java.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST-assured.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave) and writing test scenarios in Gherkin syntax.
Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, XPath.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Experience testing Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ.
Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, Validation Rules, and Process Builder.
Understanding of Salesforce architecture, including standard/custom objects, record types, and role hierarchies.
Hands-on experience with SOQL for querying and validating Salesforce data.
Experience validating AI-driven features and real-time automations.
Working knowledge of Salesforce test tools such as Provar, or Copado Robotic Testing.
Professional qualification or equivalent.
Software Engineering, Computer Science equivalent, or STEM degree (Desirable).
CSQA / ISTQB Certified.
Solid English reading/writing capability required.
Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies.
Strong communication skills.
Collaborate with global teams across UK, US, and APAC time zones.
Work closely with Business and Capability teams, including Chapters and Squads, to refine and understand business and testing requirements.
Design and implement test plans for APIs and web applications based on business needs and use cases.
Develop, maintain, and update test scenarios and test cases aligned with requirement specifications.
Document test cases using appropriate testing tools.
Conduct and record risk analyses.
Execute both manual and automated testing activities.
Track and report progress and results of all testing efforts.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using available tools, such as Python or Pytest, and troubleshoot any issues.
Continuously maintain and update automated test scripts based on agreed acceptance criteria.
Anticipate and document potential user-facing issues.
Use tools like JIRA to manage and track bugs.
Provide regular status updates (daily and weekly) to leads and managers.
Review QA project artifacts including test scenarios, scripts, defect reports, and status updates.
Work within Agile methodologies.
Document processes and share knowledge effectively.
