About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 08 S&P Global Commodity Insights Title: Junior Software Developer Location: Calgary, Canada (2 days onsite per week) Summary We require a junior motivated GIS developer to script, develop and automate spatial data processes. Candidates should have a knowledge and experience with ESRI and open source tools and technologies such as ESRI ArcGIS Desktop or Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Oracle, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases. ETL products such as FME or GDAL is highly desirable. Other open source GIS technologies will also be considered. Experience with Python, C# or other software development languages is required. Experience in AWS or other cloud platforms is also a plus.
